We took Lily to the beach on Sunday. She loves the beach! She outgrew all of her bathing suits so she was stuck wearing her clothes. It looks like I will always have to have her size in stock.
We love to take Lily to Disney's trick or treat party. This year she was able to walk on her own and hold her bag open to get the candy. The people handing out the candy loved her! She had chocolate all over her face and looked so cute in her Ladybug costume.
While watching the parade it made me realize how great Orange County is. We are able to take Lily to so many great things. Seeing a smile on her face is the best thing you can see as a mom! We are so glad that we moved down here and we are enjoying raising Lily in such a great area!

I have the best kid! She has a great personality, looks and brains!
Here is video of Lily dancing to the music from the parade. She had so much fun. I'm bummed that it turned out so dark, but we were using a video camera from our cheap digital camera. Stupid Kodak made us miss a Kodak moment!
Our friends were down from the Central Valley and we went to Disneyland with them on Wednesday then they came over on Friday for a BBQ. I must say we had a wonderful time with them! We drank, ate, laughed, and even cried because we were laughing so hard! I miss the Hotchkiss family already!
We took Lily to Legoland for the Brick or Treat. The entertainment was great, but I would have been very disappointed if I didn't have season passes and I had to pay $35.00. Disneyland is MUCH better than Legoland for the trick or treating. Overall we had a great time and Lily loved watching all the children in their costumes.

We took Lily to the Irvine Regional Park to pick out her pumpkin. I love this place! They have so many great things for the kids to do. Lily was scared of all the pumpkins and didn't want anything to do with them until we went to the smaller pumpkins and she thought they were balls! We had to keep telling her NOT to throw her pumpkin because it wasn't a ball. She just kept saying "ball". It was so cute!

She LOVES water and was so excited when she saw the water wheel

Jeff and I flew to Vegas for the weekend and Lily's Grandmother Metcalf flew down to watch Lily for us. They had a great time playing with each other. Below are pictures that Kris took, which she did a great job!
We took Lily on a two and a half hour whale and dolphin watching cruise. She seemed to get a little sea sick but recovered shortly. She loved walking like a drunk! She would try to walk and would tumble and just kept laughing! She wouldn't wear her sun hat so we had to put sunscreen in her hair, so that's why it is all greasy.

We take Lily to Disneyland every Thursday.
Just hanging out at home.

Our dear friends Sandra, Ted and their beautiful daughter Thea were out on the west coast for business. They put us up in the fabulous hotel, Langham in Pasadena. It was such a beautiful place to stay! We had a wonderful time catching up and having Lily and Thea play and swim together. Thanks guys!
My friends 17 year old cousin has a brain tumor and they are seeking donations to help with her treatment. I know how much it means to get any kind of help when you are dealing with such a thing. My boss at the time started raising money for Jeff when he had his brain tumor and that money helped to pay the bills.
Every little bit helps. If you would like to donate, click the link below. Thank you.
I have Lily entered into the Gap casting contest. You have to sign up but once you do you can come back everyday and vote for her! She is already up to 113 votes and this is her second day!!!
Last Sunday we went to Dana Point for the Tall Ships Festival. It was so much fun. Lily loved going on the boats and touching everything. She kept her balance when the boats were moving, I guess she has her sea legs already!
We had to park at the local high school and take a bus over to the festival. Lily rode her first school bus! She had a lot of fun and was pointing to everything outside the window. The school bus seats got a lot smaller and even come with seat belts now! My knees were slammed into the seat in front of me.
Lily has been doing great after her surgery. She runs around and doesn't seem like she is in any pain. It looks really good! I was expecting this large bumpy scar like Jeff had after his brain tumor removal. But then again, her doctor is a plastic surgeon!
