Lily time!

Today Lily took her first step! What happened to our little baby?

This picture wasn't even planned. Her shirt says "give peas a chance" and she is eating peas!

Her new thing is clapping, she does it after everything she does!

See, clapping again!

9 month check up and Pumpkin Patch

Today was Lily's 9 month check up and she is doing great! She did so well with her shots. She had to have her fingered pricked and she didn't even cry. She is a little anemic so we are going to feed her more meat.

Jeff took the day off and we went to the pumpkin patch. We went on a train ride and took lots of photos of Lily. We bought a huge pumpkin!

Lily is 9 months old and Disneyland!

Yesterday Lily turned 9 months old!! She has her 9 month check up on Wednesday and we will see how much she weighs and how long she is. I hope she likes her new doctor and does well with her shots.

We bought season tickets to Disneyland and we went for part of the morning today. This is so great because we don't have to spend the entire day at Disneyland.

I saved $198 off of our tickets!!!

Last night we went to Best Buy to buy me a new digital camera. Yes, I have three of them now. But you can't have too many when you have a 9 month old baby! It is amazing because I have a really nice SLR digital camera but I bought a cheaper camera that is so small and slim and I love it so much! Jeff loves it too because he doesn't have to worry about lugging this big camera around anymore.

I saved $15 dollars on the camera and got triple Best Buy points! It is really hard to get a good deal at Best Buy. If anybody has any secrets, let me know!

Here are some pictures.

I forgot her floppy hat at home, so I had to buy a cheap hat at a store, but she still looks cute!

Getting so big

Lily is changing so much. She is able to stand for about 5 seconds at a time. (Yes, I count the time) When she realizes that she is standing she freaks out and sits down. She is able to hold her toys while standing. She has great balance and didn't get that from me!

Jeff works, works, works, and works! The CEO of the company keeps giving him more and more responsibility. This means more business travel. I guess it is a good thing that he is so important!

We are taking Lily to Disneyland for Halloween and I can't wait. I never liked Disneyland until I had Lily and now I love it.

This is a post

Where have we been? We have been sitting in front of our t.v. watching CNN non-stop! We are just in awe of what will happen next. We are so thankful that this is the first time that Jeff hasn't lost his job due to the economy. At least not yet. (fingers crossed)

Last week my mother-in-law drove up from San Diego to watch Lily for a few hours. It was nice to eat lunch, shop, and run errands. It is amazing how much more you can get done without having to strap in and strap out a child. Thanks Kris!

Last Friday Jeff had an MRI done. For those of you who don't know, Jeff had a brain tumor removed February 25th, 1997. (7 months into our marriage) He is now way passed his 10 year check up. This February will be 12 years since it was removed. 10 years is the 'safe' zone. So far all the previous MRI's have shown no sign of growth. We should get the results this week.

Lily continues to be a crack up. She is so happy! She will wake up in her crib from her nap and just play and screech. We are so lucky to have her in our life. She loves to play chase and if I say Mama's gonna get you, she will laugh, turn around and crawl away as fast as she can. She is getting stronger and is able to stand by herself for a second. She has become really close to Jeff lately. I think this is a good thing. He spoils her rotten!

Here are some pictures.

Where's Lily?

Her new talent!

Sweet Lily
