Disneyland & Wild Animal Park

Last Thursday I took Lily to Disneyland and met up with some old friends and their kids. It was so good to see them! We have been friends since the 7th grade and the last time we were at Disneyland together was our senior year of high school which was almost 14 years ago! Marianne flew out from Florida!! Lily loved Marianne! For some reason Lily was in a funk all day. She was scared of Mickey Mouse and wasn't herself until she got home and was with her curious George doll, and her favorite "Charlene" blanket.

Last Saturday Jeff and I took Lily to the Wild Animal Park. It was so hot!! Lily had such a great time. As soon as we got in the car to leave she was asleep before we even left the parking lot!! She has never fallen asleep that fast before!!

Lily really likes her music class and goes up to the same kids and wants to "play" with them. It is so cute to see kids interact with each other.

Music Class

Today was Lily's first day of music class. It brings back so many memories when I was a nanny. It is nice to enjoy this time with my own daughter.

Lily is such a social bug! We weren't even there for 5 minutes and she was already "talking" to the other kids, who were standing by their parents. Lily did pretty good during the class, although she kept trying to take the other kids paper and music shakers.

Great Weather!

It was suppose to rain this weekend but it didn't so we took Lily to the Great Park here in Irvine. The weather was perfect and we let her run all over the big green grassy field. Irvine is the best place to raise a kid! They gave out free Frisbees and set up a skating rink where you can skate for free!!

Lily continues to be the best kid. She gets joy out of life! She laughs all the time and dances to the slightest sounds. We can even tap our fingers on the table and she will start to dance! She is so funny!!

For the last two days she has given up on her morning naps. Our little Lily is growing up so fast!

Happy Valentines Day!

Jeff and Lily took a quick magic carpet ride using some of the cool technology we have today, and gathered snapshots from the past. We love you so much mama, and are so lucky that you are our Valentine!

Busy Busy

I am sorry I haven't updated in a while. We have been so busy with just day to day life. Last weekend we got together with Nick, Lisa and their three kids. We went to Chuck E Cheese. Lily had so much fun! Lily loved Lisa so much, she almost cried when Lisa had to leave!

Lily has started doing this fake laugh. It is so funny! She does it because it makes us laugh. How does a one year old toddler know about fake laughing?

Lily is starting to get more affectionate. She loves to sit on the couch between Jeff and me and pretend to turn the channels with the remote. She loves to snuggle with us and her many stuffed animals. I use to ask her for kisses, but now she will just come up to me and kiss me.
