Park and Legoland

Lily has done great without her pacifier; although she tried to take a pacifier away from a kid at Legoland. We always seem to forget a hat for her when we are outside so we always have to buy her a new one. This time, the hat was a hit, because she loves it. She puts it on and wears it most of the day.

Our social bug

We decided that we would let Lily quit cold turkey with her pacifier. We started on Sunday and it has been good for the most part. She cried for her naps and bed time but now she might cry for a minute and then she goes down to sleep. It was so hard to hear her cry, but now she seems to be handling it well.

Lily is our little social bug. She has a bff already. She is 3 going on 4 in September but they love each other! It is so cute to see them get so excited to see each other and then play. Kids that are Lily's age don't like to play together, but she wants to play with the other kids, so she ends up playing with the 3 and 4 year old kids.

Sunday we went to Disneyland with the Arlie Family. You would think that they live close by with all the fun things we do with them!

Lily has been teething again, so we gave her pacifier back and she won't let go of it now. I think once she is done teething we will make her quit cold turkey. Hopefully she does okay.

Vegas

Jeff and I took our first trip without Lily to Vegas. We went with our good friends Jackie and Gary. My mother-in-law came down for the week and took care of Lily for us. (Thanks again Kris!) It was so hard to be away from Lily; we missed her so much!!

Lily did great without us. She even cried when we dropped Kris off at the airport.
